I overheard fragments of a rather interesting conversation on the bus the other day. It was two guys standing together talking about the stupidity of religious people. Especially one of them described enthusiastically how annoying it was how religious people tried to convince him of their beliefs all the time and how incredibly stupid they were for believing such nonsense! I reflected a bit over this and came to a conclusion which many people have probably arrived at before me: that a lot of atheists in the 21st century are as open minded as religious people were in the 15th century! My experience is in fact that atheists in general have MUC

We humans are quite unique on this planet. In the dawn of our kind we were a primitive species like any other and scattered over the plains and fields of planet earth. We struggled for survival through the ages while we slowly discovered our own potential. Not only did we learn how to walk on two legs but, more importantly, we learned to stand together and strive towards mutual goals. We learned the art of speech and communication and began shaping the world around us. Great civilizations emerged as manifestations of our ability to structure the world. Cities popped up and got connected by roads and people travelling between them. These anci

This is about finding something precious in every one of our circumstances. Today I was on an almost-blind date with a girl I met on the internet. It was actually the first time I ever met anyone in real life who I had only spoken to on the internet. Anyhow, this girl and I have written to each other back and forth and I thought that I had a clue of who she was, and she seemed interesting. Luckily she must have thought that I too seemed at least worthwhile taking a cup of coffee with, and thus we set up a meeting. We decided to meet today at three, by a statue of some waitress (and yes – we do worship waitresses as gods in Sweden). I a

...honestly, I thought of watching you, too, before you had watched me and certainly before you had put on that dashing id. I just read your latest journal and I thought that you seemed like an interesting person to talk to :)

so, yeah, I'm going to watch you but I just wanted to first let you know I am not doing it just because you watched me first or something.
I'm glad to hear it! And I love that you take the time to explain what you're thinking :D

I think you seem interesting as well, by the way (and not just because... well, you know, 'cause you said so). I can't say I'm certain of it but I certainly do believe that I understand how you see the world, judging from your photos :) How many times haven't I too looked at clouds, when they are particularly gigantic in the sky, and seen that awesome fortress you see! :D
Thanks for the fave.
thanks for visiting my profile
My pleasure! :)
Okay, I checked out the video. As I said I heard of her before and what she has to share. It is scary listening to what she has to say.
I will keep my eye out for the steps she is talking about. But it is sad to say that much of the things she is talking about are true and I cannot deny them. I know that the broad term of terrorist has been broadened even more. The president recently made it okay for the state to arrest you on suspicion of being a terrorist and not let you go or give you due process. But what is a terrorist?

Anyway, thanks again for linking me to the video. Keeping this on my mind
Yeah, I've heard about that... it's sick! :( Though hopefully... it will change soon. As a matter of fact, governments serves us and not the other way around ^^
